Mechanical Design Engineer II (Finance)

As a Mechanical Design Engineer II at Honeywell, you will plan, configure, and execute conveyor system projects for large distribution centers. You will be responsible for the technical quality and effectiveness of the mechanical design, creating and verifying conveyor layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and equipment orders relevant to the project. Your role includes planning equipment layouts, material flow, and ensuring efficient and safe utilization of resources and equipment.

You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines in developing material handling solutions, direct prototype building, and resolve design issues during execution. The position involves performing calculations, preparing detailed multi-view drawings, and fieldwork to identify safety concerns, verify installation compliance, and communicate with customers and installation crews.

You will report to the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor and work from Mason, OH, on a hybrid schedule. Honeywell emphasizes leadership development, diversity, and inclusion, fostering a supportive environment for growth.

Qualifications include:
