Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 0–3 years of relevant technical field experience.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (existing clearance preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SolidWorks 3D modeling and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior military experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering support for prototype, design, production, and life cycle sustainment for DoD projects.
• Designs and analyzes mechanical and electrical systems and DoD data packages.
• Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
• Supports preparation of detailed design, testing, and prototype fabrication.
• Determines methods for new assignments and may lead others.
• Recommends changes to team policies and contributes to organizational goals.
• Interacts with outside customers and peer groups.
