Job summary

Cozzini, LLC is seeking a Design Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of our food processing equipment projects. This role bridges concept to production, coordinating design activities while ensuring all projects meet technical, manufacturing, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in machine design, excellent CAD capabilities, and enjoys translating designs from concept to shop floor implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in machine design engineering.
• Experience with sheet metal, machined parts, welding, tolerancing.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD to create, refine, and maintain engineering drawings.
• Provide engineering support to fabrication and assembly teams.
• Measure and verify components against drawings on the shop floor.
• Manage design reviews, testing, and scheduling of projects.
• Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
