Job summary

A leading aerospace firm based in Florida is looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Mid) to design and develop mechanical systems for flight training devices. The candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience, with a strong proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of practical experience using parametric modeling and analysis software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Must have experience with detailed mechanical mechanism design including specifying bearings, gears, pullies, press fits.
• Knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD software highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Systems and Electrical Engineering to design and develop new training systems.
• Produce mechanical designs that are manufacturable and maintainable.
• Mentor mechanical engineers and drafters to develop cohesive designs.
