Job summary

Synstack Technologies is seeking a Cooling Design Engineer to develop and improve cooling components and systems. The role focuses on hands-on mechanical design, thermodynamics, and GD&T within a cross-functional team.

You will design, test, and deliver production-ready cooling solutions, create 3D models in Creo, and generate drawings and documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with customers and suppliers, applying rigorous standards to meet performance and cost targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Creo CAD.
  • Experience working with Teamcenter and drawing release processes.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, drawings, 2D/3D modeling and assemblies.
  • Knowledge of cooling systems and mechanical product development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and modify cooling components and systems based on requirements.
  • Develop 3D models and detailed drawings using Creo CAD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specs and design solutions.
  • Support the full product lifecycle from requirements to production.
  • Build and evaluate prototypes and support testing and validation.
  • Troubleshoot design and system issues with engineering solutions.
  • Support supplier development, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare functional requirements, drawings, and reports.
  • Apply thermodynamics, thermal analysis, and cooling technology knowledge.
  • Ensure designs meet GD&T and production requirements.

Job description

We are looking for a Cooling Design Engineer with strong mechanical design experience to develop and improve cooling components and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Creo 3D CAD, Teamcenter, cooling systems, thermodynamics, GD&T, and mechanical product development.

The engineer will work closely with customers and cross-functional engineering teams to design, develop, test, and deliver production-ready cooling products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and modify cooling components and systems based on customer and project requirements.
  • Develop 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Creo CAD.
  • Work with cross-functional engineering teams to define requirements, specifications, and design solutions.
  • Support the complete product development lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, testing, and production.
  • Build and evaluate prototypes and support testing and validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot design and system issues and implement engineering solutions.
  • Support supplier development, buy/build analysis, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain functional requirements, design documentation, drawings, and engineering reports.
  • Apply knowledge of thermodynamics, thermal analysis, structural analysis, and cooling system technology.
  • Ensure designs meet applicable engineering standards, GD&T requirements, and production requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
