Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to design, test, and scale mission-critical hardware for autonomous platforms across air, sea, and ground systems.

Three tracks—Core Technology, Lethality, and DFM/DFA—offer roles spanning from foundational hardware to high-throughput production tooling. U.S. security clearance eligibility is required for roles. Competitive salary and benefits accompany the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years design experience from concept to fabrication and test.
• Proficiency in parametric 3D CAD and PLM environments.
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Hands-on prototyping and fabrication experience.
• Understanding of statics, dynamics, heat transfer, and structural mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Own components and assemblies from requirements to volume manufacturing.
• Produce high-fidelity 3D models and detailed 2D drawings per ASME Y14.5.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, Safety and Test teams.
• Apply FEA/hand calculations to validate performance.
• Conduct DFMEA and tool-access assessments early in development.
• Support prototyping and test execution across tracks.
