Responsibilities

• Design material-handling and automation systems, including conveyors, robotic systems, machinery, and AGVs.
• Create 3D models, parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Manage multiple projects from design through fabrication, installation, and start-up.
• Meet with customers to review requirements, designs, and equipment.
• Oversee internal and outsourced fabrication, assembly, and equipment testing.
• Support machine/robotic system troubleshooting and commissioning.
• Select components/equipment and prepare purchase requisitions.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and customer documentation.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, sales, suppliers, and fabrication teams.
• Support projects involving PLC/HMI-controlled equipment.
• Maintain project schedules and budgets.
