Job summary

Pasona Inc. is seeking a Full-Time, on-site role in Georgetown, KY to support industrial equipment projects involving conveyors, robotics, manufacturing machinery, and installation coordination.

Japanese language ability is required to communicate technical requirements with Japan-based teams. You will manage proposals, estimates, and installation schedules, while coordinating suppliers, vendors, and customers throughout project completion.

Responsibilities

• Support projects involving conveyors, robotics, paint systems, and other manufacturing machinery.
• Coordinate customer meetings and on-site equipment inspections.
• Review customer requirements, equipment specifications, and technical/design information.
• Communicate technical requirements with Japan-based teams.
• Prepare proposals, specification reports, estimates, and customer quotations.
• Obtain quotes from equipment suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate equipment production, shipping, installation, and modifications.
• Prepare installation instructions and manage project/construction schedules.
• Coordinate technical personnel, contractors, vendors, and customers during installations.
• Oversee equipment installation and construction at customer facilities.
• Track project costs, schedules, issues, and completion documentation.
• Assist with equipment selection, including pumps, fans, valves, and filters.

This role coordinates projects from customer requirements and estimating through installation and completion. Japanese language ability is required to communicate technical requirements and coordinate projects with Japan-based teams.

Qualifications

Required:

• Japanese language ability required for technical and project communication with Japan-based teams.
• Experience with conveyors, robotics, equipment design, manufacturing machinery, or related industrial equipment.
• Understanding of industrial/mechanical equipment and installation processes.
• Basic sheet-metal and fabrication knowledge, including bending, cutting, and welding methods.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and design requirements.
• Strong customer, vendor, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40%, including potential domestic and international travel.

Preferred:

• Automotive manufacturing or industrial automation experience.
• Experience with machinery installation, modification, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of paint booths, ovens, conveyor systems, pretreatment, or E-coat systems.
• Understanding of psychrometric charts, duct/piping pressure loss, and heat-source principles.
