Placements24 is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an on-site role in Queenstown. You will design and develop components for agricultural machinery, create 3D models, BOMs, and perform analyses to ensure performance and durability.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience with SolidWorks or Inventor, plus knowledge of hydraulics and power transmission. On-site collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Solid understanding of machine design, hydraulics, and power transmission systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for agricultural machinery using CAD software.
