Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Aftermarket Engineer to provide expert technical support for Sundyne products, collaborating with Spares, Field Service, and Overhaul teams. You will size equipment, prepare proposals, and respond to complex technical questions, with travel minimal.

This on-site Colorado role reports to the Aftermarket Engineering Supervisor. Ideal candidates hold a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience, with 3+ years in rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or technical training.
• 3+ years of experience in rotating equipment preferred.
• Self-directed and highly motivated, able to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to work under pressure in a reactive role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, channel partners, and internal teams to maintain high satisfaction.
• Communicate professionally with customers, job site personnel, and internal departments.
• Develop and apply technical knowledge of Sundyne products, including sizing, unit conversions, assembly/disassembly, and engineering software.
• Generate competitive rerate quotes and ensure equipment is properly sized for new applications.
• Prepare technical proposals, including datasheets, performance curves, lubrication systems, seal systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Provide daily technical and product support for Aftermarket teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams on quotations, proposals, and order development.
• Review customer purchase orders for compliance with quoted equipment and specifications.
• Position may require travel to support sales channel and customers (less than 5%)
