Job summary

The Panther Group is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the full design process from ideation through production in Worcester, MA. You will draw new designs, update existing ones, and ensure all designs meet required design responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 3-8 years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience, a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with SolidWorks. FEA flow simulations preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-8 years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with design/analysis focus.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process from ideation to production. You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Draw, update, and maintain designs
• Strong New Product development/End to End Design from concept to production
• Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of Mechanical Design Engineering experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
• Proficient in Solidworks (70-80% office setting for Design/Analysis)
• FEA simulations (both static and dynamic) and also in flow simulation (desired but not mandatory)
• Wire Harness, tubing and Sheet-Metal Design.
