Job summary

Massman Companies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at the ADCO site in Sanger, CA. This is a Senior-level role responsible for leading complex design projects, mentoring junior designers, and driving design improvements. Independently produces and reviews advanced CAD models, drawings, and assemblies while ensuring designs meet functionality, manufacturability, and cost objectives.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical design , Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5 – 8+ years of relevant CAD/design experience with complex projects

Skills and Competencies

• Advanced Proficiency in CAD software, 3D Modeling, assemblies, detailed drawings (SolidWorks Preferred)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes preferred
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards and manufacturing methods
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges
• Ability to lead projects and mentor team members
• Ability to follow instructions

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to moderate noise and potentially hazardous equipment, with required use of protective gear.
