Job summary

Massman Companies is hiring two Machinist positions at our ADCO site in Sanger, CA. The roles involve fabricating and assembling moderately complex parts, reading blueprints, setting up equipment, and ensuring parts meet specifications and quality standards. Training will occur during the day shift.

We offer benefits and vacation pay, with one day shift 6am-2:30pm and one night shift 2:30pm-1:00am (10 hours, Mon-Thu). High school diploma required; 2 years fabrication experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years fabrication or shop experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints.

We are Hiring for two (2) positions:

• One position for day shift 6am - 2:30pm, 8-hour shift, Monday - Friday
• One position for night shift 2:30pm - 1:00am, 10-hour shift, Monday - Thursday
• All training will happen during the day shift.

The primary responsibility of a Machinist/Fabricator is to support production operations by fabricating and assembling moderately complex parts and components. They must be able to read and interpret detailed blueprints, sets up equipment, and ensures parts meet specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Highschool diploma or equivalent experience; technical certificate in fabrication/welding a plus
• 2 years minimum of related fabrication or shop experience preferred

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency with fabrication equipment and tools
• Ability to use common hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measuring devices
• Understanding of welding, cutting, and metal finishing processes
• Ability to follow instructions

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Exposure to moderate noise and potentially hazardous equipment, with required use of protective gear.
