Lumicity is seeking a founding mechanical engineer to join an early stage startup in San Francisco. You will design parts and assemblies using CAD, work in shop environments, and prototype quickly to validate concepts.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on fabrication experience, an active portfolio of personal or collegiate projects (SAE, BAJA, FIRST Robotics, etc.), and a passion for turning ideas into tested hardware solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1-2+ years of industry experience or an in-depth portfolio/website of personal/hobby engineering projects if you are a recent graduate
• Machine Shop Experience; CNC machining (milling/lathe), 3D printing, laser cutting, fabrication tools.

Wider extracurricular projects, collegiate project teams (e.g.: SAE, FSAE, BAJA, others), other extracurricular participation (FIRST Robotics, RoboCup, BattleBots, etc) is a huge bonus.
