Lumicity, a biosensing wearable startup in Austin, is seeking a mechanical engineer to help advance consumer electronics wearables. You will drive design and prototyping, applying CAD tools and materials science to deliver robust products.

The role emphasizes hands-on development across prototyping, testing, and debugging through full product cycles, collaborating with hardware and product teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

Competenze

• 4-8 years of mechanical engineering experience in consumer electronics, wearables, or similar products.
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, NX, Creo, or equivalent) and tolerance-stack analysis.
• Hands-on prototyping, assembly, and debug experience through at least one full product cycle.
• Strong materials science background in soft systems/wearable electronics.
