We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with deep expertise in liquid cooling systems, including Technical Cooling Systems and Secondary Fluid Networks. This role will lead NPDI efforts for TCS SFN solutions and drive the development of scalable, next generation liquid cooling distribution systems. The position owns global design standards, provides technical leadership across projects, and ensures alignment between NPDI, Application Engineering, and ETO teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead TCS SFN design activities from concept through product launch, ensuring performance and manufacturability.
- Develop standardized, reusable liquid cooling modules including headers, manifolds, valves, hoses, fittings, and expansion tanks.
- Create and maintain Creo models, assemblies, and design libraries for liquid cooling systems.
- Perform system sizing and analysis including flow balancing, pressure drop, pump and valve selection, and loop analysis
- Oversee prototype builds and validation testing including pressure, leak, thermal, cleanliness, and condensation testing.
- Manage BOMs, drawings, and engineering changes in PLM systems.
- Collaborate with global engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to support product roadmap goals.
- Mentor engineers and drive consistency, reuse, and continuous improvement across NPDI and ETO programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ten or more years of experience in piping and fluid systems, preferably in data center liquid cooling, HVAC, hydronics, or process cooling, with TCS SFN experience strongly preferred.
- Expert proficiency in PTC Creo and strong working knowledge of PLM systems.
- Proven experience leading NPDI programs and cross functional engineering teams.
- Hands on experience with system validation and testing.
- Knowledge of ASME and ASHRAE standards for liquid cooling and piping systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
