Job summary

Endress+Hauser Flowtec AG in the United States seeks a seasoned mechanical design engineer to transform ideas into robust products using Aluminum / investment casting, metal forging and sheet metal technologies.

You will conceptualize, design and validate components, drive development from concept to series production, run FEM analyses, and collaborate with global R&D, manufacturing and quality teams while managing CAD models and engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 8–10 years’ experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Experience in casting, forging and sheet metal design.
• Knowledge of Creo, Ansys, SAP ECTR and PLM systems.
• Ability to perform mechanical integrity analysis and feasibility studies.
• Strong knowledge of ISO GPS and 3D CAD design.
• Experience with mechanical simulation and FEM analysis.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 8-10 years’ experience in mechanical design and product development Expertise in casting, forging and sheet metal design
• Knowledge of Creo, Ansys, SAP ECTR and PLM systems
• Demonstrated Abilities of Performing Mechanical Integrity Analysis and come up with feasibility analysis.
• Solid Knowledge of Geometrical Product Specifications (ISO GPS)
• Proficiency in 3D CAD Design.
• Experience in Mechanical Simulation and FEM Analysis.
• Experience with Product Development, Manufacturing Technologies, and Project based work environment
• Strong analytical and communication skills
