Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (ANSYS & SolidWorks)

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical components and systems using industry-leading tools such as ANSYS and SolidWorks. You will collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, product, and quality teams to bring innovative products from concept to production.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
• Perform simulation and analysis using ANSYS (FEA, thermal, structural, etc.)
• Create detailed engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and BOMs
• Conduct design validation, testing, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
• Optimize designs for performance, cost, and reliability
• Support prototyping, testing, and product launches
• Maintain documentation in accordance with company and industry standards

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting
• Hands‑on experience with ANSYS for simulation and analysis
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems
• Experience with GD&T and engineering documentation standards
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices)
• Certification or advanced training in ANSYS or SolidWorks
