Qualifications

• Field experience in construction management, mechanical systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working on mechanical construction projects.
• OSHA certification and familiarity with workplace safety requirements.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of drawings and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and overseeing mechanical construction projects.
• Ensure safety regulations and project specifications compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Supervise field crews and provide guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to mechanical construction.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Enforce company policies and safety protocols on site.
