Job summary

Faith Technologies seeks a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to develop, implement, and coordinate project commissioning plans and documents. This role includes on-site/jobsite coordination and execution of commissioning activities under supervisory guidance.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with PCs and MS Office, understand one-lines, schematics, and drawings, and have knowledge of mechanical terminology and components. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3–8 years related experience or 5–12 years mechanical commissioning experience.
• Travel: up to 50%.
• Work schedule: 7 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Defines commissioning requirements and plans with Preconstruction/Project Managers.
• Assists with creating LOTO plans and start-up scripts.
• Develops detailed procedures/checklists to verify equipment performance and integration into a functioning system.
• Supports Commissioning Site Lead with structure, training, and LOTO/start-up scripts.
• Conducts field surveys and ensures equipment conforms to standards.
• Provides data and reports to Project Managers and commissioning team.
• Troubleshoots installed equipment during start-up and testing.
• Ensures start-up activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
