Job summary

Faith Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to lead the development and execution of project commissioning plans on-site, coordinating with Preconstruction and Project Managers. The role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read one-lines, schematics, and drawings.

The ideal candidate will assist with LOTO plans, startup scripts, and detailed procedures to ensure equipment performs to specifications, while supporting field teams and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 8 years of related experience or 5 to 12 years of mechanical commissioning experience.
• Travel up to 50% and standard work hours 7 am–5 pm, Mon–Fri.

Responsibilities

• Define commissioning requirements with Preconstruction and Project Managers and establish plans.
• Assist with creating LOTO plans and start-up scripts.
• Develop detailed procedures to verify equipment performance per specs.
• Support field team in structuring, training, and implementing LOTO and startup scripts.
• Conduct field surveys and collect data to ensure equipment meets standards.
• Provide reports to project managers and commissioning team as required.
• Troubleshoot installed equipment during start-up, testing, and commissioning.
