Job summary

Faith Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to develop, implement, and coordinate project commissioning plans and on-site activities. The role collaborates with project teams to ensure equipment meets specs and is integrated into a functioning system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 8 years of related experience or 5 to 12 years of mechanical commissioning experience.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.
• Work hours: 7 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Project Managers to define commissioning requirements and develop deliverables.
• Assist with creating LOTO plans and start-up scripts.
• Under supervision, complete procedures and checklists to verify equipment performance and integration into a functioning system.
• Assist Site Lead with establishing structure, training, and implementing LOTO and start-up scripts.
• Conduct field surveys and collect data to confirm equipment meets standards.
• Provide reports and support for project managers and commissioning team.
• Document equipment function per project specs and requirements.
• Support field commissioning activities through research and addressing needs during commissioning.
• Guide office and field teams to ensure startup activities meet specs, codes, and customer requirements.
• Work with equipment providers to troubleshoot during start-up, testing, and commissioning.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
