Treeswift Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a Mechanical Designer/CAD Engineer to design hardware in OnShape and drive the path from prototyping to production.

You will work with the Head of Hardware and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own the CAD arc, collaborating with field operations, software, and robotics teams to ensure performance where it counts. The role requires hands-on prototyping, solid/surface modeling expertise, and a drive to deliver production-ready designs in a fast-moving

Qualifications

• Proven track record taking physical products to market
• Experience with physical prototyping beyond 3D prints
• - Proficient in solid/surface modeling
• - Built and maintained medium to large CAD models and BOMs
• - Clear communication across technical and non-technical teams
• - Degree in Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Build and manage CAD files in OnShape; experience with SolidWorks or CREO is a plus
• Bring innovative ideas and rapid execution for fast small-volume manufacturing
• Own CAD hygiene and update revisions
• Inform DFM with prior market experience on commercial products
• Improve team collaboration for rapid development and smooth production
