Job summary

PAE Government Services Inc. is seeking a technically capable CAD/Product Definition Mechanical Designer to support the development and configuration control of mechanical hardware used in U.S. Navy facilities. This role involves translating engineering intent into accurate 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and controlled design documentation.

The ideal candidate will engage with design engineers and technicians, ensuring production readiness from concept through installation and testing while maintaining strict adherence to configuration management standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on mechanical CAD experience using Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to create and modify mechanical parts, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
• Experience working within a structured CAD data-management environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop fully parametric 3D solid models and assemblies.
• Create 2D engineering drawings derived from 3D CAD models.
• Support hardware execution and fielded-system needs.
