Job summary

CarMax is hiring a Mechanical Associate in West Point, VA to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Multitasking in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and valid driver's license.
• Maintain ASE certifications as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax quality standards.
