Job summary

CarMax in West Point, VA is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet our safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• ASE Certifications in relevant areas as required by state/local law.
