Job summary

Westmor Industries is seeking a Mechanical Technician in Hugo, MN to assemble and install mechanical systems, read blueprints, and ensure quality prior to shipment. The role requires precise measurement, safe operation of shop equipment, and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Read 1/8", 1/16", 1/32" graduations on a tape measure.
• Convert feet to inches and vice versa as needed.
• Identify and handle common shop tools and parts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components before and after painting.
• Install mechanical components, sub-assemblies and piping systems.
• Operate shop equipment safely and follow crane and forklift procedures.
• Test-run equipment prior to shipment.
• Update paperwork reflecting changes and required documentation.
