Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is assisting a client in San Luis Obispo, CA to hire an Electro-Mechanical Technician for the 2nd shift. You will build Ultra High Purity Systems and sub-assemblies per engineering specs, routing cables, and wiring to documented instructions.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–2 years of mechanical assembly or related technical experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in mechanical assembly or relevant technical experience.
• Ability to navigate systems to find BOMs, drawings, and instructions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs daily and climb ladders as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and safety; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems, including manufacturing various sub-assemblies to engineering specifications.
• Assist with routing cables and conduit on systems, ensuring proper installation and safety compliance.
• Follow instructions, drawings, schematics, and process documentation to assemble mechanical, electrical subassemblies, and systems.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and 6S responsibilities.
• Work collaboratively with team members and independently to meet production goals and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician (2nd shift)

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Pay Range: $23-$25/hr

+10% shift differential in addition to pay forthe 2nd shift.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm)
