Job summary

GreenSight is a fast-paced startup developing robotic and drone technologies. We seek a Mechanical Assembly Technician to assemble aircraft and subcomponents, test them, and participate in QC processes in a small team environment.

Responsibilities include building mechanical and cable assemblies, setting up optical components, and interpreting drawings and BOMs. The role is on-site with a flexible schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2 year degree preferred.
  • Experience with hand tools and measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers).
  • Soldering experience preferred.

  • Assist in machine shop processes, e.g. deburring and inspecting parts.
  • Read and interpret documents such as bills of materials, mechanical drawings and schematics.

  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Assembly Technician to put together and test our aircraft and subcomponents. You must be comfortable working in a fast paced, small team startup environment.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Install and build complex Mechanical and Cable assemblies.
  • Setup and adjust mechanical and optical components
  • Trim, sand and finish wooden and composite parts
  • Assist in machine shop processes, for example deburring and inspecting parts
  • Read and interpret documents such as bills of materials, mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Perform final test and QC of products
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • 2 Year Degree preferred
  • Experience with hand tools and measurement instruments (Calipers, Micrometers)
  • Prior military experience preferred
  • Soldering experience preferred
  • Experience with drones, even as a hobby, is a plus
Experience

at least 2 years In a professional setting

Salary is highly dependent on experience. It starts at $60,000/year. We expect to hire multiple candidates and are also open to part time arrangements.
