Greenpoint Technologies is seeking an engineer to support the design and analysis of aircraft mechanical system modifications and installations, applying CAD tools under guidance from experienced engineers.
The role emphasizes FAA regulatory compliance, project scheduling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure fit, form, and function meet customer requirements. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and aviation experience are preferred.
Supports the design and development of aircraft modifications and installations related to mechanical systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, smoke detection, equipment cooling, oxygen, potable water, wastewater, vacuum waste, and refrigerant systems, ensuring fit, form, and function meet customer requirements, quality standards, FAA regulations, project schedules, and budget objectives.
Supports the design and development of aircraft modifications and installations related to mechanical systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, smoke detection, equipment cooling, oxygen, potable water, wastewater, vacuum waste, and refrigerant systems, ensuring fit, form, and function meet customer requirements, quality standards, FAA regulations, project schedules, and budget objectives. Applies fundamental engineering principles and uses Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to develop and modify designs under the guidance of experienced engineering personnel.

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or a related discipline; 2 years of relevant engineering experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.
Employees working on programs subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations must qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee for legal compliance purposes.
The expected WA salary range for this position is between $78,000.00 - $93,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
