Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is expanding its Arlington, TX facility and seeks a Mechanical Assembly Lead. You will guide a team in the assembly of switchgear components, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery in a fully onsite environment.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical panel/switchgear assembly, strong leadership, and the ability to read schematics. Overtime may be required; heavy lifting up to 30 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing experience in electrical panel/switchgear assembly.
• Experience leading a crew of assemblers/technicians; coaching and feedback.
• Strong ability to read complex electrical schematics and work instructions.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical assembly of switchgear enclosures, frames, and bus structures per drawings and BOM.
• Assign daily tasks, balance workload, and adjust priorities based on production schedule.
• Lead daily tier meetings, Gemba walks, and VDM with associates.
• Ensure work instructions, standards, and specifications are followed; ISO and EHS compliance.
• Collaborate with extended team on safety and quality investigations.
