Job summary

Hennig in Illinois is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble fabricated metal enclosures with precision, repair and rework as needed, and support production floor operations.

The role requires reading blueprints and using power tools, measuring devices, and instruments. You will follow procedures to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and maintain quality and on-time delivery in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Assembler.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Willingness to submit to and successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
