Job summary

Lake Air Products in Roseville, MN is seeking a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, prepare parts, assemble subassemblies, and verify dimensions to meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience in mechanical assembly.
• Able to read blueprints and perform measurements.
• Must be able to bend, lift, and move parts and stand for long periods.
• Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and procedures.

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a 1stshift Mechanical Assembler to join our Roseville, MN location.

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading workpieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
• Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day
• Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements
