Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler for our Roseville, MN location. You will study assembly instructions, gather parts, and assemble components while verifying dimensions and quality. The role requires routine use of tools and adherence to safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in varied manufacturing, preferably mechanical assembly.
• Bend and lift, load/unload, and move parts across stations.
• Able to perform repetitive work for extended periods (9+ hours).
• Learn new blueprints quickly and perform measurements.
• Hand and power tool usage (drills, wrenches, pliers, hammers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints and parts lists.
• Organizes parts and subassemblies for efficient assembly.
• Verifies specifications via measurement of components/products.
• Resolves assembly issues by adjusting dimensions and seeking resources.
• Maintains inventory levels and expedites supply orders.

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler to join our Roseville , MN location.

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.
