Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a 1st shift Mechanical Assembler for our Roseville, MN location. You will study assembly instructions and blueprints, gather parts, and organize subassemblies for efficient production.

You will verify dimensions by measuring components and resolve any assembly issues to meet specifications. This role requires basic manufacturing experience, the ability to lift and bend, and the stamina to perform repetitive work while quickly learning new blueprints and measurement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in mechanical assembly.
• Bend and lift, load/unload, and move between workstations.
• Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day.
• Learn blueprints quickly and take precise measurements.

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a 1stshift Mechanical Assembler to join our Roseville, MN location.

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; and notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; and verifying receipt of supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading workpieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing
• Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day
• Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements
