Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking a 2nd Shift Parts Prepper for the paint department at our Roseville, MN location. You will visually inspect parts, prepare components for painting, and support batch oven processes to ensure quality coatings.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and attention to detail. Forklift experience is a plus, and the role involves physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a paint shop is a plus.
• Perform basic math calculations.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Possess strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to use hands to position parts in place.
• Bend and lift, loading and unloading work pieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing.
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect metal parts for previous damage.

• Clean, mask, plug, and fixture components prior to paint and powder coat application.
• Work with others to prep parts properly.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area in order.

• Unmask, unplug, and package components as needed.
• Complete all paperwork accordingly.
