Job summary

Premier Aluminum is seeking a Mechanical Assembly worker for the 1st shift. Wages start at $20 per hour. Work days are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eligible for a $250 monthly attendance/safety bonus, with a 90-day review for potential raises.

The role involves repetitive bench assembly, using hand and bench tools, following detailed instructions, and inspecting parts for defects. Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and fast-paced work in a cell.

Primary Functions

Perform highly repetitive bench operations to assemble units or sub-assemblies having few parts and details, and where tolerances are liberal or controlled by jigs and fixtures.

• Minor adjustment to ensure free action of moving parts and operating requirements
• Inspect parts and recognize defective partsPerform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this position require continuous standing and intermittent walking, bending, sitting, and lifting of parts that may at times be up to 50 lbs. This is a fast-paced assembly environment, working in a cell. The Mechanical Assembler B should have the physical and mental ability to perform the above necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record.
