Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Shippensburg, PA is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join the assembly team. You will perform diversified assembly operations to build construction equipment, follow drawings and work instructions, and process components into complete machines or subassemblies.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in mechanical assembly, can interpret complex drawings, and is proficient with hand and air tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and work instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, air tools, and mechanical assembly techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified assembly operations required to assemble various sizes and models of construction equipment.
• Work involves the assembly of complete machines, machine sections, or subassemblies, and diagnosing malfunctions or difficulties.
• Receive direction from the Manager and daily work assignments from the Team Leader.
• Work from complex drawings, work instructions, bill of material sheets, and specifications to plan assembly operations ensuring conformity to specifications.
• Fit, adjust, and align components such as gears, shafts, keys, and bearings; assemble complete machines or sub-assemblies as assigned.

Our client, a leader in the industrial manufacturing construction equipment, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the assembly department supporting production of construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: MechanicalAssembler

Location: Shippensburg, PA

Pay Range: $18 to $20 an hour to start

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Perform diversified assembly operations required to assemble various sizes and models of construction equipment
• Work involves the assembly of complete machines, machine sections, or subassemblies, and diagnosing malfunctions or difficulties
