Job summary

PeopleShare is seeking Mechanical Assemblers in the West Chester, PA area for a hands-on manufacturing role. You will assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools, read blueprints, and ensure quality through inspection.

The schedule is Mon-Fri with two shift options, and pay is $20 per hour. Prior hands-on experience with tools and measurements is preferred, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

PeopleShare is currently hiring Mechanical Assemblers for a growing manufacturing operation in the West Chester, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and enjoy working in a hands-on production environment.

Assembler Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm OR 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Pay Rate: $20/hour

Assembler Job Description:

• Assemble mechanical components, parts, and equipment according to specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, drills, wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment.
• Read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, diagrams, and basic blueprints.
• Install hardware, fasteners, brackets, and other mechanical components.
• Measure and inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality requirements are met.
• Identify damaged, defective, or incorrect parts and report issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor assembly adjustments when necessary.
• Maintain an organized inventory of parts, tools, and materials at the workstation.

Assembler Job Requirements:

• Previous mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, automotive, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of basic tools and equipment.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read measurements and follow written assembly instructions.
