Job summary

Lingo Staffing is hiring Production Assemblers for a manufacturing partner in Cloverdale, VA. This contract-to-perm role offers a first shift from Monday to Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm, paying $20.50 per hour, in a fast-paced production environment.

You'll assemble axles for tractor trailers, read blueprints and specifications, lift 50+ pounds as needed, and maintain safety and productivity standards while working in a non-climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Must have experience using hand/power tools.
• Heavy lifting - 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Must assemble axles according to a spec sheet / diagrams and written instructions.
• Must be able to work safely in a production (fast paced) environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities
