Job summary

Hire Up Staffing Services is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Houston, TX to join our production team. You will assemble, disassemble, inspect, and test hydraulic accumulator products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will review orders and drawings, set up hydro testing, make hydraulic connections, and monitor units for proper operation. Strong math, blueprint reading, and hands-on assembly skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
• Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings and production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble mechanical and hydraulic components.
• Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and production instructions.
• Set up and operate hydro testing equipment.
• Make hydraulic connections using appropriate fittings.
• Pressurize units and monitor operation and leak-down rates.
• Load and unload materials from testing equipment following safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot and identify production or assembly issues.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Maintain and clean equipment and work areas.

Mechanical Assembler – Houston, TX
Location: Houston, TX 77041
Pay: $19.00/hour + potential overtime
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Assembler, you’ll work with the production team to assemble, disassemble, inspect, and test hydraulic accumulator products while following established safety and quality standards.

• Assemble and disassemble mechanical and hydraulic components
• Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and production instructions
• Set up and operate hydro testing equipment
• Make hydraulic connections using the appropriate fittings
