Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, components, frames, and equipment.
• Follow technical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools and power tools to fasten, fit, adjust, and install components.
• Measure and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and similar tools.
• Check alignment, fit, measurements, and overall assembly quality.
• Perform mechanical fit-up and make adjustments as needed.
• Identify and report damaged or incorrect components.
• Complete production and assembly documentation as required.
• Follow quality and safety procedures; maintain a clean work area.

LINK Staffing is hiring an experienced Mechanical Assembler for a full-time manufacturing opportunity in Southwest Houston. This role is a strong fit for someone with hands‑on mechanical assembly experience who can read technical drawings, use hand and power tools, measure parts accurately, and assemble mechanical components to specification.

This is a skilled assembly role, not entry‑level production work. Candidates should be comfortable working with close tolerances, checking fit and alignment, and using precision measuring tools in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, components, frames, and equipment
• Follow technical drawings, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
• Use hand tools and power tools to fasten, fit, adjust, and install components

Required Skills

• Previous mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred Experience

• Precision mechanical assembly
• Experience assembling industrial or manufacturing equipment
• Experience working with machined metal components
• Knowledge of GD&T is a plus
• Aerospace, automotive, industrial equipment, or similar manufacturing experience
• Vocational or technical training in mechanical assembly or manufacturing is a plus
