ResourceMFG in Catoosa, OK is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for a great company. This first shift role focuses on assembling components using hand and power tools, reading mechanical drawings and schematics, and recording required information.

You will work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and occasionally extend hours to meet production needs. Competitive pay plus benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Hiring (13) Mechanical Assembler for a great company in Catoosa!

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 a hour

First Shift: 6:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday-Friday, Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Performing any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools
• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
• Ability to read and interpret conventional and precision measuring instruments.Safe and appropriate operation of any equipment needed to perform job.
• Recording serial numbers and other information as necessary to complete paperwork associated with any job.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area
• Basic maintenance of equipment
• Works with limited supervision.
• Other tasks or duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• :High school diploma (or successful completion of equivalency) preferred.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals)
• Must have Up to 2 yrs. assembly experience in a similar product mix, or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic aptitude.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, set priorities, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision.
• Must be able to work extra hours as needed to complete assignments or special projects.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Requirements

• Sitting or standing as needed.
• Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
• Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.
• For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.
