Job summary

PacSci EMC in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to support explosive handling operations. You will perform inert assembly, weigh and press materials, and set up equipment under supervision, with on-the-job training provided.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, understand English, and have 1–2 years of assembly experience. Soldering/welding is a plus; training may be required to maintain certifications.

Qualifications

• Must understand, speak, read and write English.
• Minimum 1–2 years of industry assembly work.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Soldering/welding experience a plus.
• Must be able to work in explosive handling areas.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
• Set up and use analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations.
• Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.
• Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
• May have basic soldering experience and install sub-assemblies.
