Job summary

Aerotek in Pasadena, TX is hiring for an entry-level Assembler. This contract-to-hire role focuses on mechanical assembly of switchgear units and electrical panels, using hand tools and power tools.

You will read basic work instructions, follow safety procedures, and contribute to timely production in a fast-paced environment. Shifts include Day 6:00 AM–6:00 PM and Night 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, with overtime potential.

What You’ll Do

• Performing mechanical assembly of switchgear units and electrical panels

Schedule

• Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Overtime opportunities available, with most employees working 11-hour shifts, 5-6 days per week .

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-maintained manufacturing facility with open bay doors and ventilation fans to ensure a comfortable atmosphere. You'll be part of a collaborative team that includes assemblers, machine operators, fabricators, quality control specialists, material handlers, and supervisors

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
