Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking an Electrical Assembler Level I to join our GIS Production Team on the 3rd shift. You will perform sub-assembly and final wiring for Low and Medium Voltage distribution equipment, following layouts and schematics to ensure quality and safety.

We offer an 11:30 PM–7:00 AM shift with an hourly rate of $20.36 plus a $1.50 shift differential, training on the 1st shift, and opportunities to develop hands-on skills in wiring, cable preparation, and panel

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field.
1+ year of experience with commercial or industry wiring.
Basic proficiency in English, reading, writing, and speaking.
Ability to read schematics, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision.
Experience using standard hand and power tools including pneumatic and battery-powered tools; ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

Perform sub-assembly and final wiring with accuracy according to layouts and drawings.
Work with large power cables and ensure correct crimping methods on panels.
Record job transactions and read BOMs; follow layouts and assembly drawings.
Set and use torque wrenches; follow processes and seek improvements.
Adhere to safety and environmental policies; be a strong team player.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.
