Job summary

OSW Equipment & Repair, LLC, a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler II in Tempe, AZ. You will contribute to the assembly, troubleshooting, and installation of mechanical items on dump trucks and trailers, working safely and efficiently as part of a growing team.

We value analytical problem-solvers who can read manuals, blueprints, and schematics, and who can operate power tools and basic welding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in a mechanical field with hydraulic system repairs.
• Ability to read service manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Welding in flat/vertical positions is a plus; comfortable with electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Drill holes in steel frames and bolt on parts.
• Run/Feed electrical wiring and hoses; touch up paint.
• Install large assemblies like tanks and saddles; perform basic welding.
• Read drawings, measure differences, and assist with body electrical fittings.
• Other duties as assigned.
