Job summary

Systems, LLC, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a U.S.-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment, marketing under Poweramp, DLM, and McGuire brands. Manufacturing facilities are in Germantown, WI and Malvern, AR.

Earn a $2,000 sign-on bonus and join a team focused on quality and safety. This on-site assembler role involves basic fitting, using hand/power tools, and meeting production standards in Germantown, WI.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit up.
• Ability to use hand to finger, handle, and feel.
• Ability to climb and balance.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to see, talk, and hear.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment.
• Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables.
• Perform basic inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards.
• Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel.
• Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

The pay range for this position is $17.93 - $25.76/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
