Job summary

Systems, LLC, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a U.S.-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment with Germantown, WI facility. We seek an entry‑level assembler to perform simple fitting and mechanical assembly using a variety of hand and power tools.

Operate cranes/hoists, inspect items for quality, report defects, and maintain logs. No minimum education or prior experience required; lifting up to 50 lb and standing/walking are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit up.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical assembly of parts using hand/power tools.
• Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables.
• Perform basic inspection to ensure product meets specs and standards.
• Identify product defects and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain production records/logs and follow safety guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
• Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables
• Perform basic inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
• Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
• Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $17.93 - $25.76/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
• In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
• This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
