Job summary

Chamberlain Group, including Systems, LLC, is seeking an assembly-focused worker in Germantown, WI. Join a U.S.-based manufacturer of loading dock equipment and contribute to simple fitting, mechanical assembly, and quality checks.

Typical duties include reading tape measures and blueprints, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating basic production tools. Sign-on bonus offered with full benefits and 401(k) eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical assembly of parts and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Operate cranes, hoists, or lift tables.
• Perform basic inspection to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify product defects and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain production records/logs and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
• Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables
• Perform basic inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
• Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
• Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
• Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• No minimum education required
• No prior experience required
• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
• Ability to use hand to finger, handle, and feel
• Ability to climb and balance
• Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
• Ability to reach with hands and arms

The pay range for this position is $17.93 - $25.76/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
